The scent of lavender and Lady Day blues...
The nights in Johannesburg, while still nippy, are beginning to carry just the faintest hints of spring. The lingering scent of Jasmine and an occasional warm breeze are a reminder that soon the nights will turn hot again; but until then, let’s enjoy our long baths and warm beds.

Recorded just 17 months before her death, this album captures the sharp contrast between Billie's once silken, now weakened voice, and the "satin" of Ray Ellis' sleek strings. It's soulful, sorrowful and hauntingly beautiful.

There's a reason Provençal locals refer to lavender as "blue gold". This range will instantly transport you to the rolling lavender fields of Provence.
